After further researching about who she was, I've got to find the reason for harsh criticism and eventually, resignation. She admitted that she lied about her marriage information to get the US citizenship. As she was the first Dominican woman to be a prominent political leader in US, I think she took her responsibility to pave better ways
for other future politicians in her nation. If she were Korean, she might be less reprimanded and thus able to save her place as a politician, as it is obviously no more than other immoral issues than other Korean leaders. I feel shame for that; and I sincerely hope that all the important figures in Korea could deal with their wrongdoings as much and soon as possible.

When building the important social infrastructure for a nation like the article, the most important factor to consider should be the safety. Recently there has been an accident in the Korean department store; it had few injuries and faded out in the local news. Seeing that, it seemed that Koreans deemed that as unimportant just because it had no severe patients. Korea is very messy with those kinds of accidents that its citizens are now becoming insensitive about smaller safety-related accidents. Although it seems quick and efficient construction works well with short-term growth, it might confront detrimental and insolvable social problems later. I hope Dominican Republic could always remember this basic sense.

3. Crews Fight Dominican Republic’s First Seasonal Forest Fire
Short Summary
Recently there has been a increasing number of forest fire near the mountain area, making the firefighters battle the blaze fast enough to deal with it successfully. The seasonal drought is suggested as a main reason for breeding the fire; however, the Environment Ministry's forest fire prevention has turned out to be very effective to protect it from further disaster.
Persuasive Paragraph
I wonder the seasonal fire occurs in the summer, as I thought the drought and the forest fire become serious problems in winter in case of Korea. (I guess the Geographical differences result in different periods like these) But what I wanted to point out was the perspective of this article. It shows the pride upon the national prevention plans and in the last paragraph it concludes with the sentence saying the effective implementation of forest protection minimized the damage. I felt envious in the sense that the Environment Ministry has retained strong trust of citizens living in Dominican Republic. I think I will wait and see if it holds the same in my country as well until the seasonal fire in Korea pops out as news this winter.
